Things To Do

When you live or vacation in Seaside Park, prepare to leave your cares behind. The time you spend with us will be as peaceful or as busy as you make it.

Catch the sunrise on an early walk to the beach, hunt for seashells, watch to see what the fishermen are catching or catch some fish yourself.

Swim in our crystal clear ocean, relax in your beach chair while you watch your kids surf, go boogie boarding, fly a kite or build a sand castle.

If you need a break, try a short trip to the Casino Pier in Seaside Heights. Share a ride with your kids on the Ferris wheel, roller coaster or try your luck on a wheel. Leave time for a slice of pizza and excitement of the Breakwater Beach water park.

The Point Pleasant aquarium is just a short ride away, through our quaint towns of Ortley Beach, Lavallette, Normandy Beach, Chadwick Beach, Mantoloking and Bay Head. If deep sea fishing is your thing, you can catch a charter fishing boat in Point Pleasant at the Manasquan Inlet.

Back in Seaside Park you can drop a crab trap off the Fifth Avenue dock and see what you catch. Push your kids on the bayside playground swings. If you visit us for the Fourth of July, you can decorate your bike and join the annual patriotic Bike Parade for kids of all ages and watch the fireworks at night. If you have the energy, you can windsurf, kayak or play tennis or basketball on our municipal courts.

Go for your run or bike ride along Barnegat Bay and into Island Beach State Park. Maybe you can make it all the way to the end, where you can see Ocean County’s beloved lighthouse, “Old Barney” across the inlet on Long Island Beach. Take advantage of Island Beach State Park sponsored activities, such as Birding by Kayak, Beginners Surf Fishing Clinic, and save time to tour the Interpretive Center or walk the many self guided trails.

If exciting water sports are your passion, there are Waverunner, boat, ocean kayak, and all types of equipment rentals available. Just across the bay in Toms River you can enjoy sightseeing or a dinner cruise on The River Lady. Do not miss the Seaside Park Annual Craft Fair—it’s fabulous.

If golf is your game, there are great courses from Bey Lea in Toms River, Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis in Tuckerton, to the Pine Barrens in Jackson, and many more.

In other words, you can find anything in Seaside Park and Ocean County. Let us help you find that perfect vacation home, summer rental, retirement home or investment property. Come home to where your memories are.
